1.10 Site Layout
"Everything must be made as simple as possible. But not simpler."
~Albert Einstein
Here is a brief summary of the different sections (Tabs) of the site.
Home: the blog-like listing of the more recent newsletters, most recent items listed first.
Contents: table of contents for site.
Orientation: the posts I've compiled to introduce Integral Theory and orient you to my goals and website organization. These items are numbered 1.0 to 1.12, the order they should be read. Any of the sections that have numbered posts are meant to be read sequentially, not the (usually) reverse order they are listed.
Theory: Here I list posts that explain Integral Theory. The theory is made up of 5 elements, which are numbered 2.x through 6.x.
2.x Levels or Stages
3.x Quadrants
4.x Lines
5.x States
6.x Types
7.x Other features of Integral Theory
Reading the posts in numerical order is the best way to follow the logic of how the theory fits together.
Applications: This is where the rubber meets the road. I use the theory to make sense of the world.
References: I do my best to cite resources. When I quote an author, I will cite him or her in a post. If I make substantial references to the ideas contained in a particular paper or book, I will cite it in the post.
Otherwise much of what I write is difficult to trace back to specific sources so the Resources Tab includes those references that comprise my Integral Library. They contain the seminal ideas forming my content.
Archive: a list of all posts.
About: A few more details.
Format: I will primarily use a discussion format to develop my commentary on Integral Theory. It continuously reminds me to make Integral Theory easier to understand, and ultimately, to use.
You may notice blind spots, errors, and areas of ignorance. I’m responsible for my errors. They come from my experience (or lack of), my biases, and areas of my arrested development. Feel free to point them out. I don’t know what I don’t know. (updated 6-13-23)
